Hola somos Allison y Evelyn, nosotras somos hermanas, nacimos en España, pero tenemos papás Colombianos y estamos muy orgullosas de nuestras raíces.

Este vídeo se enfoca en la igualdad de género. Escogimos hacer este tema por qué es de lo que estábamos hablando en las sesiones de Sin Fronteras y además porque creemos que es una tema que también concierne a las jóvenes de Londres y queremos que nuestra sociedad sepa que jóvenes cómo nosotras estamos intentando hacer del mundo un lugar mejor, y queremos que nuestros esfuerzos, pensamientos e ideas sean tomadas en cuenta.

Para hacer este video Samantha, que es la tercera hermana y yo (Allison) escogimos lo que queríamos escribir en los carteles y después los escribimos en ellos. Evelyn estuvo encargada de tomar las fotos y después lo pusimos todo en un video.

Queremos transmitir el mensaje de que la igualdad de género no es una lucha solo de las mujeres sino más bien de todos.

Hello, we are Allison and Evelyn, we are sisters. We were born in Spain, but we have Colombian parents and we are very proud of our roots.

This video focuses on gender equality. We chose to address this topic because it is what we were talking about in the Sin Fronteras sessions and also because we believe that it is an issue concerning young women in London and we want our society to know that young people like us are trying to make the world a better place. And we want our efforts, thoughts and ideas to be taken into account.

To make this video, Samantha, who is the third sister, and I (Allison) chose what we wanted to write on the posters and then we wrote it on them. Evelyn was in charge of taking the photos and then we put it all into a video.

We want to convey the message that gender equality is not a struggle only for women but for everyone.
